Well, I finally decided to invest in a desktop computer recently, for gaming purposes. Is nice. Got it a few weeks ago, to be precise; after upgrading the power supply and dropping in a better graphics card compared to the basic build, everything's been running nice and smooth for the most part, so I think it's a keeper. Feels good to once again have the raw horsepower needed to play some of the PC games that have been sitting unused on my shelves, since the failure of that fancy-pants laptop that ended up not working out a few years ago. I also used this desktop as an excuse to slightly upgrade my TV setup, since I'm using the TV as the monitor for the desktop. TV, monitor, they're about the same thing, right?
In other news, I've been struggling with drumming up the motivation to draw things lately. It's mainly due to a lack of urgency, direction, or a sense of purpose, I think. I recently acquired a Wacom Bamboo Capture drawing tablet, in hopes that it will help make drawing fun again. In a closely related matter, I'm totally open to drawing requests or suggestions right now.
As a side note, I'm currently planning to attend NoBrandCon next month. Who else is going?
